Valentine Day Craft for Toddlers

Froot Loops Over You Craft

Joeli and I got a head start on preparing her Valentine’s Day cards for preschool the other morning. We had a good time eating our Cereal and Milk, and getting crafty. Here is what we came up with.

Froot Loops Over You Craft

Even though I did a little prepping before hand this is a pretty easy craft to put together. I went ahead and preprinted “I am FROOT LOOPS Over You” on 5×5 card stock, or you can use construction paper.

Next we took our favorite breakfast cereal, Kellogg’s FROOT LOOPS, some red pipe cleaner, and started threading the cereal. The Froot Loops easily thread onto the pipe cleaner, then bent into a heart shape.

Froot Loops Over You

I decided to use some twine we had lying around, but you could use thread to attached your FROOT LOOP heart to your cardstock. It was tough for both Joeli and I to not eat most of the FROOT LOOPS.

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
