Do you remember my Instagram posts on the McDonald’s Lunch Bunch Events in North Texas? I recently attended another one of these with my 9 year old daughter, Joeli. The event is intended to bring local moms and dads into the restaurant to learn more about McDonald’s and its commitment to education, food, and giving back in local communities.

McDonald’s Lunch Bunch

The November Lunch Bunch event featured the debut of the McCafé® new fall flavors for parents, including the Peppermint Mocha McCafé. The kiddos aren’t left out. This event also features family- friendly activities, including face painting, balloon twisters, and activity stations. Joeli was really into the animal balloons.

While there we learned about all the McCafé drink selections and the Triple Stack Breakfast options. Some mornings, you need a bigger breakfast that will keep you full for longer. McDonald’s new Triple Stack Breakfast Sandwiches are perfect for those days. These include:

• Triple Breakfast Stacks McMuffin
• Triple Breakfast Stacks Biscuit
• Triple Breakfast Stacks McGriddles

I totally enjoyed the seasonal McCafé Peppermint Mocha drink. The McCafé Peppermint Mocha is offered either iced or hot. It is made with made with espresso beans that are sustainably sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms, with whole or nonfat milk, peppermint chocolate syrup, whipped topping, and chocolate drizzle for a tasty mocha treat full of minty flavor. The McCafé Peppermint Hot Chocolate is freshly brewed and silky smooth with chocolaty goodness.

All of these holiday flavors are available at participating McDonald’s for a limited time. Year round, customers can enjoy McCafé favorites, including the Caramel Macchiato and French Vanilla Latte, both available hot or iced. The Caramel Macchiato is made with rich, dark-roast espresso and served with steamed whole or nonfat milk, mixed with sweet caramel syrup, and topped with ribbons of buttery caramel. You can customize an Iced Latte that’s made just for you with cold whole or nonfat milk, mixed with your choice of flavor at certain locations.

This was one of four Lunch Bunch events taking place in the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Tyler areas throughout this year. Moms and dads got a chance to try McDonald’s new menu items and seasonal holiday treats. Kids were able to participate in fun activities. We also got an inside look at community initiatives and operations, including how the company is helping those in need.
