Calling all tailgaters! Football season is upon us, and it is in full effect! So it doesn’t matter if you root for your old college alma mater, or home town NFL team. You can’t have football without food in hand. So when you are out at your next tailgate event, don’t just take the traditional finger foods. Take it up a notch with some bacon wrapped tailgate delicacies. I have chosen to use Farmland Bacon and make some bacon cups. Bacon cups? Yep I could just kiss the person that thunk-up this idea, but I won’t. But, seriously I the Farmland bacon cup/bowl for several reason. I like the convenience factor of being able to make and take the bacon cups. This way when I get to the staduim, or party I am ready to share ASAP. Also, bacon is bacon, it delivers a bold flavor to anything you pair it with, that is why I prefer Farmland Foods Bacon. Farmland’s bacon is from local farm families for over 50 years to secure the best quality pork, and no one takes more time, effort or care in providing delicious, fresh pork and bacon.
Cheese – Mac & Bacon
First up is the Cheese – Mac & Bacon cup. This is super easy and appeals all ages, and can be put together fairly quickly. I just prepard our favorite mac & cheese mixture, and filled the bacon cup to a desired level.
