Fire Grilled Pizza Made Easy

Fire Grilled Pizza

To bring the summer to a close, we did a little outdoor cooking. We invited over a few friends and family to spend the day with. All we asked is that you bring something to cook on the grill. So what do I do? I throw some pizza on the grill! That’s right, Fire Grilled Pizza like a boss.

We had plenty of meat and veggies scattered across the grill top, and don’t get me wrong, I’m a meat-eater. Buy something else was in order. With kids running all over the house and yard, it was only appropriate to use the Hormel Pizza Ready sauce and flat bread.

This really easy and no mess idea of making pizza was spot-on! I warmed up the flat bread for about 5 minutes, then spread some of the Hormel Pizza Ready Sauce & Meat on. From here it was all down hill. Once I placed the pizza crust back on the grill, I was able to sprinkle some of my favorite shredded cheese over the pizza sauce.

After about 10-15 minutes I started checking the underside of the pizza crust, for a light to medium brown. After removing my pizzas from the grill. I liked that the pizza would curl up once pizza is almost done.

Yummy!!! I have got to try this. The last time I tried pizza on the grill it was a disaster. But, I tried it with regular pizza dough. Flatbread would be way easier.

As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
