An excellent recipe for a deep-dish style pie is Stuffed Crust Cast Iron Pizza. The cast iron pan is first heated up on the stovetop so that the crust starts to crisp as soon as it hits the hot pan. After stuffing, you finish it in the oven.

  2. Stove Top Pizza – Roll out the pizza dough and lay it inside of the pan (it should sizzle)

  • You Need Extra Dough – There should be extra dough to fold over to create the stuffed crust.
  • Tuck and Roll the Cheese – Lay slices of cheese around the edges and fold the dough over.
