Disclosure: Fall Means Sweet Treats blog post is sponsored by P&G. All opinions are my own.

Eggnog is by far one of my most favorite holiday drinks. So much I can’t get enough of it. I found this Eggnog Poppy Seed Cake on the internet, and we love it.

Eggnog Poppy Seed Cake

Eggnog Poppy Seed Cake

  • 2 1/2 – cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 – cup sugar
  • 1/4 – cup poppy seed
  • 1 1/4 – cups eggnog
  • 1 – tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 3 – tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 1/2 – teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 – teaspoon salt
  • 1 – teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 – egg
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of one 9×5-inch loaf pan or two 8×4-inch loaf pans with shortening or cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, stir together all ingredients; beat 30 seconds with spoon. Pour into pan(s).
  3. Bake 9-inch loaf 55 to 65 minutes, 8-inch loaves 55 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour, before slicing. Wrap in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator up to 1 week.

I love a good sweet treat if you can’t tell by reading my blog. As a family like to try all sorts of desserts and candies. But, at the same time I encouge the famly to be contous on what and how much.

Crest Pro-Health

We take a strong stand on healthy teeth, especially during the holiday season, like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We take advantage of great deals on Crest toothpaste from our local Kroger grocery store.

Crest Pro-Health toothpaste is the only toothpaste accepted by the American Dental Association to treat all seven attributes:

  • Plaque
  • Gingivitis
  • Cavities
  • Sensitivity
  • Tartar
  • Whitening
  • Freshens Breath

Crest Pro-Health helps you advance to healthier gums and stronger teeth with benefits that help protect against areas dentists check most.

Crest Kroger Store

Right now Kroger is offering a $2.00 a national $2 coupon that can be used on a variety of Crest toothpaste products. Kroger has a mini-Mega event running from 11/14 – 11/27 where there is an additional $1 off select Crest products. On 11/28 a second Mega event begins with the same $1 off. Combined with the $2 national coupon, the additional $1 off makes the product free.

The next time you are stopping by Kroger to stock up on eggnog, make sure you take advantage of a great deal on Crest Pro-Health toothpaste.
