In our new home the kitchen is centrally located making it the place where we gather for just about everything, not just meals. The refrigerator is the hub of that space, occupying some prime kitchen real estate.
The aptly named Samsung Hub Refrigerator is amazingly family friendly. The technology makes it easy to communicate with one another and share special moments. And, there is plenty of room for the drinks and snacks the kids enjoy in an easy to reach FlexZone™ drawer. Here are some of the features I like most.
Family Connection
The kids really love the idea of sharing family photos and notes on the smartphone compatible integrated screen. I’m a fan of the multiple calendars and memos so that I can keep track of where everyone needs to be or what school work needs to get done.
Food Management
You can create shopping lists and see inside the refrigerator and freezer from anywhere on your phones via the 3 built-in cameras. You are able to check if you are out of something while at the market. You can also set up food expiration notifications.
Auto Water Infuser
The kids can customize their water with the auto fill with infuser that allows them to create delicious, refreshing flavored water right from the refrigerator door.
Entertainment
You can stream music and videos or watch your Samsung TV directly on the Family Hub with fast onscreen interface.
Samsung Voice by “Bixby”
This refrigerator has integrated voice-activated features. You can talk to the fridge from anywhere in the kitchen by asking “Bixby” questions like “Bixby, what is the weather forecast for today”? You are able to get recipe suggestions with voice read-out and text enlargement.
Door Alarm
It may seem like a simple thing to like, but I am fond of the door alarm that alerts you when the refrigerator door is accidentally left open. This is a clear reminded to the kids to go back and close the door to save energy.
