This post is in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures.

Another LEGO movie is on the way, due out this month. This makes my youngest daughter so happy. She is LEGO movie obsessed and can’t get enough of the animated films and series. The latest film to be released is The LEGO NINJAGO Movie.

About the LEGO NINJAGO Movie Movie

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie will arrive in theaters on September 22. In this big-screen animated adventure, the battle for NINJAGO City brings to life the secret ninja warrior Lloyd and his ninja friends to defend the city from the evil of the warlord Garmadon. Master Wu is the wise cracking guru who trains and leads the young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with the other young warriors, in their efforts to fight off the warlord and his mass destruction.

LEGO NINJAGO Movie

There is a twist. Garmadon, The Worst Guy Ever, happens to be Lloyd’s father. Pitting father against son, this epic showdown tests the fierceness of the young and undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas. They are your average school kids normally. They transform into ninjas when evil threatens. During their adventure, these kids must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their inner power of Spinjitzu.

This PG rated film is the latest in the Warner Bros. Pictures’ LEGO® franchise. It stars Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods, and the legendary Jackie Chan.

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
