With all the walking and jogging I am doing lately to help improve my cardiovascular health. I have decided to try the Bose SoundWear Companion Speaker that I received from Best Buy to listen to music while exercising. Music helps keep me focused and takes my mind off of sometimes wanting to cut the run short.
This wireless speaker is comfortably worn around my neck. It form fits to my shoulders in whatever position I am in. I just tuck it under my shirt. It syncs perfectly with the music on my Smartphone using Bluetooth technology and the Bose Connect app. I can also take a call and talk while I do my cool down walk. The SoundWear Companion gently vibrates to notify me of in incoming call without interrupting my music with a ringtone.
One of the best parts about a speaker system that doesn’t cover my ears or get stuffed into them is that I am aware of all that is going on around me. This is really beneficial for times when I need to step off the curb into the road. I am cognizant of any traffic that might be approaching. I also love that I don’t have to hold my phone to talk into it. That is distracting. The Bose SoundWear is effortless.
The rechargeable, lithium-ion battery gives me up to 12 hours of play time. The battery charges in just 15 minutes for an additional 2.5 hours.
The silicon cover is sweat and rain resistant. That’s a good thing for a guy who perspires when he works out. There are also optional, removable Companion covers in different colors.
