You know we love family movie night. And, who doesn’t love the Toy Story movies? Have you ever noticed that your kids can rewatch certain movies over and over?
Toy Story 4
All the Toy Story movies fit that bill around here. I don’t mind. I find something new that makes me laugh every time.
Toy Story 4 is director Josh Cooley’s debut feature film in the fourth installment of Pixar’s Toy Story series. As always, Woody, voiced by Tom Hanks, is a fairly confident guy about his place in the world. Woody’s goal in life is to take care of his kids Andy and Bonnie.
When Bonnie’s craft project turned into a toy named Forky, voiced by Tony Hale, declares himself trash rather than a toy, Woody decides to show Forky why he should want to be a toy and not trash.
Then, Bonnie takes the whole family on a road trip and Woody ends up on a detour that leads him to reunite with his old friend Bo Peep, voiced by Annie Potts.
After years of wandering on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit belies her delicate porcelain exterior.
Woody and Bo come to realize they are worlds apart and they soon come to find that being a toy isn’t the worst thing in life.
In addition to our favorite characters, the film is an incredibly artful and eye-catching piece of work. I think it is the best in the series. And, the kids just love the story.
The movie is available today in a collectible SteelBook 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray only at Best Buy.
