Family time is HUGE in our house. Wheather if it is playing board games, making cookies, watching a movie, or doing a craft if is full of laughs and smiles. The other night we watched Despicable Me 3 as a family and loved it. I would say it is my favorite of the Despicable Me series.
Staci treated us with some Minions Chocolate Popcorn while the girls and I made a Minions Christmas Garland to hang on the tree. The girls thought the little Minions were too cute not to share a space on our Christmas tree.
Minions Christmas Garland
Each one of us made a small section of the Minion Christmas Garland. All we used were the following:
- Yellow, Blue, Black, and White construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Pencil
- I had the girls cut out yellow construction paper into 3-inch rectangles
- We rounded the corners to create the Minion body
- Circles for the eyes (White and Black construction paper)
- We used small pieces of blue construction paper to piece together the overalls.
- Lastly, we used small pieces of yellow construction paper to connect the Minion Christmas Garland
Despicable Me 3 Special Edition
Despicable Me movie series is one I have loved a long time now. It is probably because I relate to Gru on so many levels. Not so much the International Villian side, the protecting-heart loving dad side. I love how he has transformed from a man of mystery to a guy that just want to spend time with his family. So you can love the Minions and all the funny things they do, or think Lucy is this uber cool gal. At the end of the day Gru is my guy.
