3 Reasons to Try Something New on Denny’s Menu

Disclosure: Dining out with kids is part of the Denny’s Ambassador Program. I am being compensated for my participation. However all thoughts and experiences are 100% my own. #DennysDiners

The last past couple weeks I have been itching to visit our local Denny’s diner. Denny’s released a few new items on their Spring menu, that sounds too good to not try.

3 Reasons to Try Something New on Denny’s Menu

  • Red, White & Blue Slam® – A fruity twist on a popular breakfast staple; featuring two buttermilk pancakes filled with blueberries, topped with fresh strawberries, cream cheese icing and whipped cream, served with two eggs cooked to order, bacon strips or sausage links and a side of crispy hash browns. Guests may also enjoy the Red, White & Blue Pancakes on their own starting at just $4.99.
  • Banana Bread French Toast Slam® – This home-style take on classic French toast includes sweet griddled banana bread, topped with sliced bananas and glazed pecans, served with two eggs cooked to order, bacon strips or sausage links and a side of hash browns.
  • Sriracha Spicy Super Chick’n – Your regular chicken sandwich is about to be kicked to the curb; featuring hot and spicy Sriracha seasoned chicken, topped with melted Swiss cheese, crisp bacon, tomato and Denny’s new creamy Sriracha sauce, served on grilled sourdough with a side of wavy-cut French fries.

What do you think? Are you a spicy sriracha lover, or a crispy banana nut lover? Me, I am all the above! I love the combination of sweet and spicy for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night.

Denny’s Denny’s

Denny’s menu isn’t the only thing taking a spin; the diner has teamed up with NASCAR® star Denny Hamlin to introduce the world’s first, and only “Denny’s Denny’s.” Hamlin loves Denny’s so much, he’s taking the custom “Denny’s Denny’s” on the road with him as he competes in some of the biggest NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series races this season. Fans will be able to stop by and experience a taste of “Denny’s Denny’s” as it makes pit stops across the country. If that wasn’t enough, a “Denny’s Denny’s” sweepstakes, exclusive video content and fan “boothies” will fuel fans excitement this summer by visiting www.dennysdennys.com.

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
