I tried Tabs Chocolate twice, and I liked the experience enough to consider buying it again for a special occasion. The chocolate tasted good, and I noticed a change in how relaxed and engaged I felt. But two evenings are a personal experience—not proof that the ingredients caused those changes or that someone else will have the same result.
Disclosure: I purchased Tabs Chocolate with my own money. This is not a sponsored post.
My quick verdict
Tabs was an enjoyable novelty for me, but I would not buy it expecting a guaranteed physical effect. I paid about $29 for my purchase. That makes it an occasional date-night expense in my budget, rather than something I would buy as everyday chocolate.
| What I considered | My take |
|---|---|
| Taste | Smooth, rich dark chocolate without a medicinal aftertaste |
| My experience | I noticed changes on two occasions, but cannot separate the chocolate from expectation or setting |
| Value | Easier to justify as an occasional novelty than a regular purchase |
| Biggest limitation | My experience does not establish effectiveness or safety for other people |
| Before buying | Check the actual package label, serving directions, seller, and total price |
What is Tabs Chocolate?
Tabs is chocolate marketed to adults for intimacy, with added botanical ingredients. This review concerns the chocolate, rather than the brand's other products.
The presentation is part of the appeal: it feels like a small date-night purchase instead of another routine supplement. That does not mean it should be treated as ordinary candy. Read the label and make sure anyone you share it with knows what it contains.
My experience trying Tabs twice
The first time
I initially tried it on my own because I was curious. Within roughly 20–30 minutes, I felt more relaxed and a little energized. I also noticed a change in arousal. I did not measure blood flow or any other physical outcome, so I would describe that as a subjective observation.
The experience lasted around two hours for me. I did not notice a crash or unusual side effects on that occasion. That is a report of what happened to me, not assurance that another person will tolerate it the same way.

The vacation experience
I tried it again on a trip with my wife. This time, I told her about it and offered to share. She declined because she is sensitive to chocolate, which was completely fine.
I noticed a similar change on that occasion. We also had uninterrupted time together and were away from the usual responsibilities at home. I cannot separate the role of the chocolate from the setting, anticipation, or simply having time to relax.
Those two experiences are the basis of this review. They are not a comparison against a placebo or a test of every current Tabs flavor or formula.
Does Tabs Chocolate actually work?
For me, the honest answer is that I noticed something and enjoyed the experience. I cannot tell you that Tabs caused it or promise that you will notice the same thing.
There is also a difference between enjoying a product and showing that it treats a health problem. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health says complementary approaches have not been established as safe and effective for sexual enhancement or erectile dysfunction. Its guidance concerns the category; it is not a clinical evaluation of my box of Tabs.
If a change in sexual function is worrying you, a personal chocolate review cannot answer what is causing it. A health professional can help you assess that.

Tabs Chocolate ingredients: check the current label
The US product page, checked September 11, 2026, highlights cocoa, horny goat weed, maca, kanna, and green tea caffeine. This manufacturer summary is not the complete package label.
My earlier ingredient list included L-arginine and ginseng. Those do not appear in that current summary, so I have removed them from this review's description of the current product. That does not establish what was in my older purchase.
Before ordering, check the Supplement Facts, other ingredients, allergens, and serving size for the exact flavor and package you will receive. Do not assume an older review or another flavor has the same formula. A list of familiar plants also does not tell you whether the finished product will work for you.
How does it taste?
Taste was the easiest part for me to judge. The chocolate I tried was smooth and rich, with some sweetness and no medicinal aftertaste. I enjoyed it as dark chocolate, rather than feeling as though I was tolerating the flavor for the promised benefits.
That is my assessment of the product I tried. I have not established how the other flavors compare. If you only want a good dessert, ordinary chocolate is another option; the question here is whether you want to pay extra for this particular novelty.
Price and value
I originally paid about $29 on Amazon. That was my purchase price, not a promise of what a box costs today.
On September 11, 2026, the official US page listed a one-time box at $29.99, with three squares and six half-square servings. That works out to about $5 per listed serving, before shipping and tax. Check the checkout total and whether you selected a one-time purchase or subscription. Current product listing
For my budget, the price is easier to justify occasionally than regularly. I would consider buying it again because I liked the taste and experience. I would not spend the money on the assumption that a particular response is guaranteed.
Serving directions and practical precautions
Follow the directions on your own package. Tabs' current page describes half a square as a serving and a maximum of one square per person per day. It markets an onset around 30 minutes; that is a brand claim, not a guaranteed timetable. Manufacturer directions
My earlier description of eating “half a bar” was too ambiguous to serve as a useful guide. Do not use that wording to decide how much to take, and do not keep adding more because you have not noticed a response.
The brand states that this product is for adults 18 and older and advises consulting a doctor before use if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition. Manufacturer precautions
“Natural” does not settle questions about interactions, allergies, or tolerability. Review the actual ingredients with a pharmacist or clinician if you are unsure. Store it securely away from children and separately from ordinary family snacks. Let a partner choose whether to try it; the added ingredients should never be a surprise.
Where I would buy it
My original purchase was through Amazon. For a new order, I would compare the seller and package details with the official Tabs listing. Check who is selling the product, what you will receive, and the applicable shipping and return terms.
I would avoid relying on an old price screenshot or an unverified “near me” listing. Availability and offers can change.

Frequently asked questions
How long did Tabs Chocolate last for me?
I reported noticing changes for about two hours. That is my recollection from two uses, not a typical duration established by testing.
Did my wife try it too?
No. She declined when I offered to share. This review describes my experience, not results for both of us.
Did I have side effects?
I did not notice unusual side effects during my reported experiences. Two uses cannot establish the product's safety or predict someone else's response.
Is Tabs worth buying just for the taste?
I liked the taste, but I would compare it with ordinary chocolate if flavor is your only priority. My interest in buying it again is tied to the overall novelty, not just dessert.

Would I buy Tabs again?
Possibly, for a special occasion. I would check the current package first and keep my expectations modest. The part I can stand behind is that I enjoyed my two experiences—not that the product will deliver the same outcome for you.
