Flannel and Denim are My Fall Favorites

I absolutely love wearing Flannel and Denim clothing that is comfortable, stylish and made of natural materials. Cotton is my go-to for comfort. Organic cotton is even better. Why organic? Organic cotton is good for the environment. It is free of the pesticides and chemicals that I really don’t want in contact with my skin.

I told you all about my summer picks for stylish prAna clothing that my girls were proud to see their dad wearing at the beach. What I like about this company is that it produces some good looking clothing using sustainable manufacturing processes.

I have just put together a new outfit for fall that my girls approve of and it is so easy to wear. The cotton and cotton blends just feel effortless.

My Picks for Fall – Flannel and Denim

Cotton flannel shirts are back in. Actually, I don’t think they ever really went out of style, especially in Texas. Temperatures can dip at night even though we can still enjoy the outdoors. If our family is gathering around the fire pit it is nice to have on long sleeves and jeans. The Horizon LS men’s flannel shirt has classic double patch pockets with snap closures. It comes in a couple of color schemes and goes well with cotton jeans. I opted for the cargo green.

The Bridger Jean is an organic cotton/poly blend. This denim pant combines softness, stretch, and durability. The jeans are cut for a slimmer fit at the thigh, which is perfect for many men. The 5-pocket styling is traditional for jeans.

Why this Brand of Clothing?

This company is passionate about the impact they make on the environment. They also appreciate a modern aesthetic when it comes to styling clothing. They use materials and manufacturing methods that adhere to strict guidelines for safety and efficacy.

As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
