Days of a Domestic Dad disclosure travel

Would you rather have a life pre-chosen for you, or have the chance to find your life yourself? Well in Disney Channel Descendants, that is what a few teenagers in present day Auradon was thinking. Carlos (Cameron Boyce), son of Cruella De Vil; Jay (Booboo Stewart), son of Jafar; Evie (Sofia Carson), daughter of the Evil Queen; and Mal (Dove Cameron), daughter of Maleficent. Have always lead the life their family has laid before them. But that changes.

Given a chance by Prince Ben (Mitchell Hope), Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos arrive at Auradon Prep and set out to steal the wand using Evie’s magic mirror to locate the wand at a nearby museum. There, Mal begins questioning being good or evil after seeing statues of Maleficent, Jafar, the Evil Queen and Cruella de Vil (“Evil Like Me”). Ultimately, they fail retrieving the wand after Jay accidentally sets off the alarm and they escape. From there all four start to question their old life as they make new friends in Auradon Prep.

My Take on Disney Channel Descendants

Without giving away too much of Disney Channel Descendants I would love to share about it all day long. This Disney original lives up to the Disney Channel expectation. I know when we screened Descendants in LA about a month ago, I knew my 10 and 11 year old would love it. But, little did I know that when the final dance was over I too would be wanting more. Disney Channel Descendants had me at,”Rotten to the Core” and  “Be Our Guest”. The acting in this film is spot on, but the choreography and music wins the movie hands down.

Our girls have continued to homeschool through school closures, just as we’ve done for over a decade.

Online classes for many though have been an adjustment, and they can really slow down a home network with multiple devices.

Luckily #Verizon offers fast, reliable 5G internet in the #Dallas area!
