Cooking Up a Good Time Behind My Char-Broil Grill

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Char-Broil for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you ask people what they love most about summer, most will say Food, Fun, and Friendships. For me, it is Good Fun, Fun Games, and spending time with family. Our ideal summer weekend involves breaking out the lawn chairs, tossing the horseshoes, challenging my brother-in-law in a game of cornhole, and grilling on the back porch.

What about you? What is your favorite past time during the hot summer days?

You Will Find Me Behind the Grill. Even after all the smack talk during the yard games and what not! My place is behind the lid of a Char-Broil Commercial Series Grills. I have been using Char-Broil grills ever since my dad taught me how to stack charcoal. Grilling has kind of been in my blood and shows through my grilling skills. So when I have a chance I like to please the best way I know how. A friend of mine calls me a “bartender of the grill” cause I like to serve up some tasty dishes.

Why I Choose the Char-Broil Commercial Series Grills

60 years after introducing the first charcoal grill, Char-Broil debuted another innovation every bit as monumental: the TRU-Infrared™ cooking system. It delivers even heat across the entire cooking surface (no more hot and cold spots), juicier food, higher temperatures without flare ups, for restaurant-quality results. All Char-Broil Commercial Series™ grills are equipped with the patented TRU-Infrared cooking system, which is unique to Char-Broil.

  • The patented TRU-Infrared cooking system cooks food evenly across the entire cooking surface and without flare-ups. Also uses 30% less fuel than a traditional gas grill.
  • The infrared system produces much juicier food than a traditional gas grill.
  • Restaurant-quality steaks. (Infrared grills are used in high-end steak houses.)
  • Great temperature control – for both searing and low-and-slow cooking.
  • The grill includes features that make the outdoor cooking experience better, including a gauge on the tank that measures fuel level (no more running out of propane just as the party gets started!),
  • It’s a rugged grill that looks great. New upgraded design & improved materials for 2015. Built for performance.

Char-Broil grills with the TRU-Infrared cooking system are sold at your local Lowe’s Home Improvement center. Stop in and visit with a representative to Learn more about Char-Broil’s infrared technology and what Char-Broil Commercial Series Grills that best suites your cooking style.

So, will you join me this summer behind a Char-Broil grill, cooking up a good time and feeding peoples faces!?!

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
