How We Keep Small Spaces Smelling Clean and Fresh

I’m sharing my experience with Febreze as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™.

Now that summer is over and the kids are back to schoolwork we find ourselves spending a little more time indoors as a family. When this happens I begin to notice certain areas of the house that could benefit from smelling a little fresher.

The bathrooms and closets immediately come to mind. With 3 girls still at home, their bathrooms get plenty of use. We can’t clean them every day. But, I do like to have them smelling fresh. This goes for the closets as well, especially when the kids kick off their sneakers after playing outside. The smell of feet is not the most pleasant. And, who wants clothes to absorb those odors?

Febreze SMALL SPACES Helps!

There isn’t a lot of room in the bathrooms because the girls have all of their personal care items in there. It’s a lot of stuff. We have found that a Febreze SMALL SPACES unit fits perfectly on the vanity or on a windowsill.

The same goes for placing one on the floor of each closet. They are so small that we hardly notice them, until of course it is time to put in a new scent refill.

Febreze SMALL SPACES uses OdorClear technology to eliminate, not just cover up, a variety of different odors. There are several different scents to choose from. The girls can pick their own favorites. Each refill lasts for up to a month.

Easy to Use

All you have to do is take your SMALL SPACES holder and insert the scent refill until you hear a click. Once you hear that, you will know that the refill is activated. You have the option to adjust the base to the full open position for larger areas, such as bathrooms. Or, you can close it for less scent in smaller areas, such as closets.

Just be sure to keep some extra refills on hand.

Where to Use Febreze SMALL SPACES

These small scent holders aren’t only for bathrooms and closets. You can use them in laundry rooms, powder rooms, near the dog’s bed, on the kitchen counter, inside cabinets, or in a mudroom where everyone might dump wet jackets and boots after a storm.

Any space that is approximately 100 square feet or less can benefit from the fresh scent with OdorClear technology.

What small spaces in your house need a little odor help?

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
