Sights and Sounds of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

Disclosure: I was loaned a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Sport for one week to review. All opinions are my own.

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

What do you look for in a car? Is it the style of the body, the sound of the motor, the comfort of the drive, or possibly the way it makes you feel. I know from previous vehicles I have owned and driven, I feel a certain way when driving different vehicles. Like when I drive a big pick up truck I feel a little more manly, than when I sport a convertible sedan, I feel like “Mr Big Shot”.

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

This past week when I was rolling in the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport I felt pretty hip. Hip mainly because of the kicking sound system and spacious moon roof for wide open spaces. We spent plenty of time cruising the street in this urban noise machine!

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is great little SUV to get around town or take on a short road trip. With the comfort of hold 5 along with storage for cargo, I love it. But, what sold me on Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is the sights and sounds. The Rockford Fosgate filled cabin with 10-inch sub-woofer really drove my attention to drive. The premium sound system with 710 watts powering nine speakers, including a 10-inch dual-voice coil subwoofer, has enough in-your-face style Rockford’s aftermarket punch. So for the music lover in me, I was thoroughly impressed.

On top of the kicking sound system, I found the enlarged moon roof to be a little breath taking during the day and night. The girls loved being able to look up and out while we are moving down the road.

I’ve partnered with @TxDOT to remind you that all distractions – whether texting, eating, grooming, having a conversation, etc. – can be dangerous. #ad   That is why my family and I are also taking the AT&T It Can Wait pledge at http://www.ItCanWait.com/ to never drive distracted. As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
