Here is a fun and easy naked cake that is perfect for your Independence Day or other patriotic celebrations. The girls and I had a blast baking and decorating this Patriotic Naked Cake just in time for July 4th.

Ingredients:

  • Blue Velvet Cake Mix
  • Whip Cream
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Blue Crystal Sprinkles (optional)

Directions:

  1. In mini bundt pans, cook the blue velvet cake as directed. If you don’t have mini bundt pans, you can always use a full-size cupcake pan. After baking, allow your cakes to cool for ten minutes before removing from the pan.
  2. After removing from the pan, allow your cakes to cool for thirty minutes before adding the toppings. Once cool, add a generous dollop of whip cream.
  3. To fan your strawberries, make cuts the length of the strawberry about ¼” inch apart. Once all of your cuts are made, hold the strawberry at the top, between your thumb and forefinger, and press out with your thumb to make the strawberry fan. Place on top of the dollop of whip cream.

Our girls have continued to homeschool through school closures, just as we’ve done for over a decade.

Online classes for many though have been an adjustment, and they can really slow down a home network with multiple devices.

Luckily #Verizon offers fast, reliable 5G internet in the #Dallas area!
