Disclosure: I am partnering with Cub Cadet on this blog post. Together we look to unlock create yard greatness.
One of my favorite things about being a homeowner is maintaining the yard. I know, it may sound crazy to some, but we actually find yard work to be therapeutic. There’s a great sense of pride that comes with having a great looking yard.
Cub Cadet Lawn Care
Therefore, I was thrilled to be invited to Ohio with Cub Cadet recently. Not only did I learn about their line of mowers, but I was able to better understand the mechanics and design choices behind the lawn equipment.
Not to mention, we also learned different ways to mow and how to manage grass through all seasons. We were able to get behind a variety of mowers and actually mow grass to get a good grasp on it all. Hands-on training is typically the best way for me to learn, so I felt like I walked away with a good working knowledge of the products.
Some of my favorite products after the event included:
Walk-Behind SC 700 E
I haven’t ever had a yard big enough to justify a riding mower, so I have more experience with a more traditional push mower. After using the Cub Cadet SC 700 E for awhile, I could see it was made with careful design. From the ergonomic handle to the four-wheel drive system, I felt in control.
- The SC 700 E is one of Cub Cadet’s Signature Cut Series self-propelled lawn mowers that features MaxControl four-wheel drive system to help you adjust to your terrain.
- The Signature Cut Series includes MySpeed Premium Drive Control System in each of its models for high-performance control, smoother engagement, speed variability and enhanced traction
XT Enduro Series
While I was at the Cub Cadet Headquarters I noticed the surrounding areas had good size lawns, mostly over an acre or so. what I really noticed is that the majority of them were well manicured. With straight lines and patterns to accent the owners home. I can see how a Cub Cadet lawn tractor could be a valuable asset. I test drove the XT1 Enduro for nearly 30 minutes, the power was impressive, but the handling and maneuverability are what really raised my eyebrows.
- The XT Enduro Series is Cub Cadet’s line of riding lawn mowers, designed with breakthrough cutting and bagging performance, incredible comfort, responsive handling and exceptional versatility.
- The XT Enduro Series is available in the XT1, XT2, and XT3, each built to match your space of land, terrain and desired results
XR3 Enduro Series
If you follow my blog then you know I geek out on home automation and great tech solutions. So my favorite Cub Cadet lawn mower by far was the one I don’t have to push, ride, steer, fuel, or do anything. In Texas, it can get hot during the summer, which makes lawn care miserable. That is why I was in love at first sight. The idea of a robotic lawn mower with SmartMow technology is right up my wheelhouse.
Who could use this @CubCadet_USA robotic mower in their life this summer?!?! This GUY ????????!!! #CubStrong #ad pic.twitter.com/4ptFAV9LgE

- The XR3 Enduro Series offers ultimate convenience, unmatched power and a smooth operating system fit for the “smart home”
I look forward to sharing more about my Cub Cadet Spring Training event over the next couple months. We learned about Cub Cadet zero-turn lawn mowers, snow blowers, and test drove the Cub Cadet Challenger 400 4×4. It was pretty exciting.
