Pi Day

Who needs a reason to celebrate or bake? Well if you are looking for a reason to get the kitchen a little dirty. I have you 14 different pie recipes to whip up on Pi Day, March 14. Or 3/14.

Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. (via Piday.org)

There are several ways Pi Day is celebrated throughout the world, but I think the best way is most definitely with eating pie. Yum! So, I found a great selection of 14 Pie Recipes to help you have your pie and eat it today too! Take a look at the list below and see what you think!

My favorite kind of pie is not in the list above. It’s my grandmother’s Sour Cream and Raisin Pie. Sounds gross, but tastes delicious!

Several of those recipes look really good! I will have to pick one to make. I love how nerdy Pi Day is. We celebrated both years in AP Calculus but I haven’t heard anyone mention it in years
