It isn’t a secret that I shop at Kroger for my personal hygiene products. The deals are awesome and they carry all of the Unilever products I like. With the upcoming college basketball almost here, I plan on heading to Kroger to stock up on their March deals.
Your Confidence is Showing
I like the term “mancrafted” as it describes the distinctly male grooming products that I purchase and use. I have a house full of women right now and I need my own manly items that my girls and wife will instinctively steer clear of. There is no chance I will be reaching for an empty bottle of shampoo or a stick of deodorant with my personal mancrafted stash.
It isn’t really just about having my own stuff. It is that I genuinely like to feel confident about looking and smelling clean and well groomed. That is also important for my wife and the girls.
They are not shy about telling me if I am slacking on a weekend when I want to hang out in the same sweats for a couple of days, watching basketball. My girls like me to pull myself together in case friends come over or we go out. And, it makes me feel empowered and comfortable. I love when they are proud to show me off.
Some of my go-to Unilever personal grooming products available at Kroger are the Suave Men’s Shampoos in alpine or ocean scents, the Degree Clean Advanced Protection Antiperspirant Deodorant Stick, and any of the Vaseline moisturizing creams.
We live inland, so the Suave shampoos give me the fresh scents that I associate with the mountains and the sea. The Degree Clean deodorant is basic in that it provides the right amount of protection from sweat and odor when the Texas temps start to rise. I don’t want to smell like a florist shop. I want to smell clean in a masculine way. I also am keenly aware that my hands can be a little rough, so I do like to use pretty much any of the Vaseline moisturizing creams and jellies.
