Minivans often get a bad rap for being a “dad car”. However, these cars are fantastic when it comes to roominess and versatility for large families. The 2020 Toyota Sienna hits all the marks for a comfortable and flexible minivan.

Features of the 2020 Toyota Sienna

The top tier 2020 Toyota Sienna Limited Premium AWD is loaded with standard features like automatic headlights, windshield wiper deicer, three zone climate control, rearview camera, smart key ignition, and a sunroof. It also comes with a seven-inch touchscreen and Toyota’s Entune interface, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, rear-seat entertainment system, and five USB ports.

Interior Highlights

The Sienna minivan Limited models provide an extra level of comfort with leather seats and a heated steering wheel. This car has a second row of removable, long-slide captain’s chairs that make it easy to access the third row.

The third row of seats fold into the floor for more cargo area. Another feature of this van is the small jump seat located between the second-row captain’s chairs. It allows you to add an additional passenger. It can be removed to give second-row passengers more room.

The window shades can be lowered to create a theater like space in the back, or provide an ideal environment for the little ones to nap.

Engine & Towing

The Toyota Sienna has a powerful 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine with direct fuel injection. This engine performs at 296 horsepower and 263 lb/ft of torque. This is controlled by an eight-speed automatic transmission. For those long family trips that require some extra gear or equipment, the standard Tow Prep Package allows the Sienna to pull up to 3,500 lbs.

Safety First

A car as large as the Toyota Sienna minivan requires plenty of airbags throughout. The Sienna has 8 thoughtfully located standard airbags. The vehicle is also equipped with the Toyota Star Safety System that includes well-designed sensors and monitors for quick response. The Lower Anchor and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system provides an added measure of safety for your kids.

Modern minivans, like the 2020 Toyota Sienna, are boldly designed and structurally sound for a steady drive. The interior is similar to a luxury SUV and less like a bare-bones utility vehicle.

Bottom Line

The Toyota Sienna continues to lead the industry in cutting edge minivan design. The 2020 lineup is good looking, powerful, comfortable, full of tech, and loaded with the safety features you and your family have come to expect from Toyota.

I’ve partnered with @TxDOT to remind you that all distractions – whether texting, eating, grooming, having a conversation, etc. – can be dangerous. #ad   That is why my family and I are also taking the AT&T It Can Wait pledge at http://www.ItCanWait.com/ to never drive distracted. Will you join us?   #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ItCanWait

As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
