Auto Disclosure

The 2019 Mazda CX-9s arrived at dealerships this September. I had the opportunity to check some out. What I like most about these SUVs are the tech packages and the price points for a car of this caliber. They are definitely a step up from the 2018 models. The second-generation Mazda CX-9 midsize crossover SUVs have technology updates and performance improvements.

2019 Mazda CX-9 – Sport

The basic 2019 Mazda CX-9 Sport comes with standard 18-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment screen with an updated Commander control knob, cloth seats, LED headlights and tail lights, one-touch front and rear power windows, rear privacy glass, three-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio pairing, and keyless entry and push-button start.

Safety features include Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. It also has High Beam Control, Lane-Keep Assist, Lane-Departure Warning, and full-speed Mazda Radar Cruise Control.

Available for CX-9 Sport is the upgraded Sport Package that includes a power driver’s seat, heated front seats, heated door mirrors, and automatic headlights.

CX-9 Touring

The CX-9 Touring level and above models are now factory-equipped with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ infotainment systems as standard equipment. The CX-9 Touring model also adds standard automatic headlights, heated front side mirrors, power liftgate with adjustable height, rain-sensing windshield wipers, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry, and two second-row USB ports.

2019 CX-9

Premium Packages are equipped with a power moonroof, BOSE Premium 12-speaker audio system, SiriusXM with a three-month trial subscription, LED fog lamps, Mazda Navigation, front parking sensors and a second-row retractable sunshades.

2019 CX-9

I am impressed with the 2019 Mazda CX-9 lineup of SUVs. They have all the bells and whistle for the price point. The tech, power, luxury interiors, and standard safety features are perfect for a large family such as ours. You can learn more at mazdausa.com.

I’ve partnered with @TxDOT to remind you that all distractions – whether texting, eating, grooming, having a conversation, etc. – can be dangerous. #ad   That is why my family and I are also taking the AT&T It Can Wait pledge at http://www.ItCanWait.com/ to never drive distracted. As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
