Taco Mamacita in Chattanooga

Taco Mamacita

Opened with a passion for food and customer service and a love for the restaurant business. The owners Taylor and Mike Monen have always loved working in the restaurant industry. Along with the help of a modern-Mexican cuisine guru, Mike took his restaurant ideas and the new ideas he learned about Mexican food, and started working on the menu for Taco Mamacita. Before the idea of Taco Mamacita was thought Taylor owned a successful event planning company that Mike took her from to start on a new venture. She loved cooking and working in the restaurant industry (she had worked for Mike while she was in college). She did not think twice about leaving her business behind to work with Mike to open Taco Mamacita. The healthy menu options were her idea and she also makes the hand-mixed drinks at the bar. They now have three successful restaurants in Chattanooga and Nashville, Tennessee and in Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina. Their variety of foods is part of why customers visit and return.

A customer can start their meal with tasty appetizers like chips and salsa, queso, guacamole, or a sample platter that comes with all three, three types of nachos, salsa sampler, or the seasonal salsa and chips. There are a variety of main dishes as well. They include soups and salads with homemade dressing, six kinds of tacos, carnitas, a homeboy, Korean BBQ, a loaded Gyro, and brisket sandwiches. The other menu items include four kinds of enchiladas, a Peruvian chicken dinner and a Peruvian family feast, and a variety of side dishes. With food that sounds delicious and people that do their best to offer great customer service, this restaurant absolutely sounds like it is worth visiting.

Their menus offer a great assortment of food items from appetizers to quesadillas.
