DoDD Review Disclosure

Are you a handy kind of Guy or Gal? I am not. I normally need some sort of guidance from someone that knows what they are doing. Like when I work on my truck, I always have my father-in-law come over to help. Just because I wouldn’t want to mess something up.

The other day I got a new lock and deadbolt set for the front door, the one we had was pretty old. I decided to tackle this front door renovation (just kidding)  on by myself. Actually it was pretty easy, I was able to use a Phillips screwdriver and a small hammer. I removed the old lock set and replaced it a Master Lock set in about twenty minutes.

Replace Your Deadbolt

I had a little help take off the old door nob and deadbolt. It seems every time I get a screwdriver or misalliance tools out, she runs over to help.

Why I Chose a MasterlockMasterlock Deadbolt

  • Keyed alike entry door lock and single cylinder deadbolt
  • Knob – six-way adjustable latch fits all doors: 2-3/8in (60mm) or 2-3/4in (70mm) backset, square, rounded corners, or drive-in
  • Deadbolt (thumb turn inside) – four way adjustable; 2-3/8in (60mm) or 2-3/4in (70mm) backset, square, or rounded corners
  • ANSI GRADE 3 performance
  • For exterior locking applications, Entry door

The Master Lock No. BCCO0615 features a keyed alike biscuit style knob and single cylinder deadbolt, with interior thumb turn. The six-way adjustable latch fits all doors with 2-3/8in or 2-3/4in backset, square, rounded corners, or drive-in. The deadbolt is four way adjustable for 2-3/8in or 2-3/4in backset, square, or rounded corners. This knob and deadbolt combo pack is ANSI GRADE 3 and designed for exterior door applications. The satin nickel finish provides a sleek appearance. The Limited Lifetime Warranty provides peace of mind from a brand you can trust.

I’ve partnered with @TxDOT to remind you that all distractions – whether texting, eating, grooming, having a conversation, etc. – can be dangerous. #ad   That is why my family and I are also taking the AT&T It Can Wait pledge at http://www.ItCanWait.com/ to never drive distracted. As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
