My trip to the Chicago Auto Show this past February was welcomed with a pleasant surprise of the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. This newly renovated hotel sits next to Lake Michigan and is conveniently located near tons of Chicago's favorite hot spots. During my stay it was too cold to walk a long distance, cab services came in handy, didn't break the bank too bad.
The standard rooms are spacious and gratefully quite, for that good night sleep. Like any other Hyatt, my room had all the amenities of home, including a 42 in HD TV to watch some college basketball. A large window let in plenty of natural light to give an extra comfort, as I did a little work at the desk. With a full size bathroom, that included a huge wall-in shower, and separate toilet area I was convinced this was a slice of home away from home. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. The variety of restaurants and coffee bar kept me going while I was between the Auto Show and Hotel all day. I definitely give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
