Exterior Details
Both cars feature LED headlights and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The front grilles are similar and stand out. The main difference is the wheelbase. The CX-3 is 16 inches, while the CX-30 is 18 inches. Though, both are aluminum alloy.
Roomy Interiors
Both cars have 5 passenger capacity with a 60/40 rear seat split fold-down seat. The rear cargo space is ample in both with storage boxes and under-floor compartment space.
Audio and Infotainment
Both the Mazda CX-30 and CX-3 have impressive suites of audio and entertainment systems. They do differ a bit. Both include Apple CarPlay integration, Android Auto integration, and Pandora internet radio integration.

The main difference may be in the capabilities of the engines. The CX-30 boasts of a 2.5 turbo, 250 horsepower, and 320 lb-ft torque engine. The CX-3 has a 2.0-liter engine with 148 horsepower. Both have Skyactiv-Vehicle Dynamics.
Final Thoughts
Both the CX-30 and CX-3 are impressive 2022 Mazda CUVs. These vehicles have everything I like in a family car with spacious interiors with ample cargo space, infotainment systems, and standard safety packages.
