What better gift than one that is handmade? A handmade gift shows how much you care for the person you’re giving it to, and that it’s much more than a simple obligation.

DIY Christmas Gifts

The holidays will be here in no time, so if you plan on making your own gifts, take a look at some of my favorite DIY Christmas gifts. I’m still trying to decide what I’m going to be making this year, but I came across so many creative ideas so there are certainly plenty of options.

You don’t need to be an avid DIYer to make your own Christmas gifts. Some of them are as simple as making your own cocoa mix or some Sharpie personalized mugs. Add some pretty packaging and you’ve got yourself the perfect gift to give this Christmas!

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
