The new 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT 2.5 AWD is a good-looking SUV. It is rugged with an imposing front grille and 18-inch wheels. I was impressed by certain features of this Santa Fe model.

While the car is rugged, it also has some sporty elements, including bold color selections, such as Storm Sea. The front grilles, fascia trim, mirrors, and wheels are accented in black.
Exterior
The XRT comes with top rails for carrying recreational equipment, such as paddleboards and oars that don’t fit inside the cargo space. Silver-toned side steps provide easy access to the roof racks.
The XRT trim also has LED headlights, daytime running lights, heated outdoor side mirrors, and a rear spoiler.
Interior
The Santa Fe XRT has a roomy and stylishly designed interior cabin. The cloth seats are comfortable. The front seats have side bolsters and 8-way power with 2-way power lumbar support. Both front seats are heated. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather. A wide center console combines seamlessly with the center stack’s dual-zone climate controls. The lower portion houses the shift-by-wire transmission, a media controller, and buttons for the electric parking brake. There’s plenty of storage in the console bin.
The second-row seats are a 60/40 split for additional storage space. The cargo area has a 2nd-row power seat release. There is also storage under the cargo floor.
Powertrain in the Hyundai Santa Fe XRT
The XRT has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. It is combined with 8-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain provides 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque.
Technology -Hyundai Santa Fe XRT
A 12.3-inch digital display cluster is set back into the dashboard. Off to the side of that is
an 8-inch multimedia touchscreen display. The graphics are nice on the system and it features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The display also links to a rearview monitor with parking guidance. The Santa Fe comes with four USB ports.
Safety
The 2022 XRT comes with Hyundai’s SmartSense Safety Feature suite. It includes:
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist w/Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection
- Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist
- Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist

I like the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT 2.5 AWD. It is rugged, sporty, comfortable, and full of tech and safety features. It seems to have more power and styling than the more basic Santa Fe models.
