The Ford Mustang is one of the most iconic American-made sportscars. It debuted in 1964 and was really a show stopper. It sat low to the ground, had 2 doors, colorful interiors, and came in a Mustang EcoBoost convertible option.

Over the years, the Ford Mustang went through plenty of transformations and versions with various racy names, like the Mach 1. It has remained a classic car, and collectors love to buy and restore them.

The sporty 2020 Ford Mustang Convertible 2.3L is just as awesome as the earlier models. It is a great car for an auto enthusiast like myself. I recently had the opportunity to drive this car equipped with the High Performance Package (HPP). The one I had was velocity blue.

Convertible Mustang

This 2020 Mustang convertable model is basically the 2.3L EcoBoost with the High-Performance Package that has a rating of 310 to 330 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The six-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly by sending power to the rear wheels, similar to all the S500 models.

The 2020 Mustang EcoBoost Convertible 2.3L is just a really fun car to drive, especially on a warm day with the top dropped. I wouldn’t refer to this as a family car, but it does have 4 bucket seats and adequate trunk space for shorter trips.

55 Years of Mustang

The body is sleek and curvy, an updated look to the more angular 1960s models. Aluminum alloy wheels anchor the car to the road and give it a powerful stance. The signature Mustang LED headlamps are standard, as is the classic logo of a running mustang on the front grille and on the steering wheel. The body color options are bright and bold.

The 2020 Mustang Convertible with High Performance Package is a sportscar that will not break the bank. It retails for around $40,000. This car is the embodiment of American auto technology.
