I am looking for a PC laptop that I can I can take on short business or longer family trips. I have my sights set on the HP Envy x360 laptop. It is available in either a 13.3 inch or 15.6 inch screen.

HP Envy x360

This device can convert from a laptop into a tablet just by flipping the 360 degree hinged display. The smaller weighs less than 3 pounds, while the larger display weighs less than 5 pounds, making the HP Envy x360 a truly portable option for me. Here are some of the basic features that I really like.

Windows 10 operating system: Windows 10 includes the Start Menu from Windows 7 that I am very familiar with.

HD multitouch screen: The screen has 1920 x 1080 resolution with great color and sharpness. The touch screen allows me to tap and glide, taking advantage of Windows 10 touch interactive technology. The display is WLED backlight for energy efficiency. The 360° flip-and-fold design converts this PC into presentation mode or a tablet.

Built-in Windows Ink: I can easily write down notes and thoughts on the go.

1TB hard drive and 8GB system memory: I will be able to store a sizeable collection of digital photos, music, and videos. A 7200 rpm spindle speed will enable me to handle large files and complex applications rapidly. The 8GB high-bandwidth RAM will afford me some down time to play a few video games. I can also multi-task by running several programs at once.

Integrated graphics chipset: The AMD Radeon Vega graphics chipset has shared video memory with solid image quality for movies, basic photo editing, and casual gaming.

Bluetooth interface: With the Bluetooth connectivity I can sync with all of my compatible devices wirelessly.

HD webcam: The built-in webcam has two microphones so I can easily video chat with friends, family, or business associates while I am away.

USB ports & HDMI output: The Envy comes with high-speed USB ports as well as an HDMI output so I can connect to an HDTV or high-def monitor to set up two screens side by side.

The HP Envy x360 laptop is available at Best Buy right now in both sizes and can be bundled with other options. Best Buy is offering a $100 student discount on this product. You can check out all the features and any deals on the Best Buy website.

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
