Acura MDX is Surprising Big

Auto Disclosure

I finally got the opportunity to drive a 2020 Acura MDX. This is a big SUV with 3 rows of seats and plenty of luxe. Despite the size of this car, it has a good deal of pep and handles nicely on the road. I can fit my family, dog, and our gear in this SUV. Here is what stood out about the Acura MDX.

Performance

The 2020 Acura MDX comes with a powerful, yet efficient, V-6 engine with standard 290 HP81. The MDX engine can get up speed quickly on the highway. The SH-AWD model comes with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. This car has amazing agility.

Styling

The Acura MDX has distinctive styling with a sculpted body and a bold stance. The chrome accents make the exterior pop. The A-Spec model features signature black details and is available in a variety of metallic finishes. The Jewel Eye LED headlights are elegant and super bright.

Interior Space

This is the ultimate family vehicle with 3 rows of seats and lots of headroom. Acura did not skimp on the luxury of the interior. The second row of seats can be either bench style or captain’s seats with a center console for beverages and extra storage. You can fold the second and third-row seats down for over 90 cubic feet of storage.

Entertainment Package

The MDX boasts of impressive 10-speaker surround sound with crisp audio output. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream audio from your smartphone. The second-row can be easily transformed into a mini theater with a drop down split screen, sun shades, wireless headphones, and compatibility with smartphones and HDMI devices.

I totally enjoyed my week driving the 2020 Acura MDX around town. It is a great family SUV with plenty of comfortable space. The entertainment system was a real hit with the kids. This car has great power and handles really nicely.

I’ve partnered with @TxDOT to remind you that all distractions – whether texting, eating, grooming, having a conversation, etc. – can be dangerous. #ad   That is why my family and I are also taking the AT&T It Can Wait pledge at http://www.ItCanWait.com/ to never drive distracted. As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
