Ford is a well-known American brand, and it has many fans. If you’re thinking about getting one of their newer models, you should think about the Bronco Sport. The 2025 edition has many excellent features that make this choice a standout.

Ennis Ford has this model for sale right now. Before you take one for a test drive, though, here are some details you should know about that make it a particularly desirable vehicle for a variety of situations.

The Base Model

The base model of the 2025 Ford Bronco comes with a 181-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder engine. It is the same as the one you will get with the Ford Escape. It has proven enduringly popular, though, so the Bronco was given it as well.

You get standard all-wheel drive with the Sport, so you can take it off-roading or drive around the city, whichever you would prefer. The better clearance makes this a great candidate for trail riding, though, probably more so than the Escape, which is somewhat lower to the ground.

Multiple Models Are Available

You might get your Sport in the Badlands or the Outer Banks model. Both of them are part of the Sasquatch line. The Badlands seems to be the one that is getting most of the rave reviews at the moment, though.

It comes with a twin-clutch rear axle, skid plates, and a suspension lift. Even if you are not taking it bouncing along any mountain trails on a daily basis, there is plenty to like about this model for modern city driving with a luxurious flair.

The Volkswagen Tiguan or the Honda CR-V, probably its closest competitors, do have more rear-seat space. However, you will still have ample room for kids or groceries.

The Fuel Economy

As for fuel economy, the Sport gives you 25 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway. That is pretty good for a vehicle this size and with this much power.

The 2.0-L EcoBoost engine is one of the hallmarks of this brand. The standard four-wheel drive is also something that buyers seem to be looking for at a price point of under $30K, which is definitely possible with the Sport, though that depends on the trim package.

Connectivity

The connectivity is perhaps what’s most impressive about the 2025 Sport model, though. You will get a standard 13.2-inch touchscreen as a center stack. It has what Ford calls the SYNC 4 system.

This setup has over-the-air software capabilities that you are going to love. It does also come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay availability, depending on which one you favor.

Overall, you should find that the Sport delivers where it counts at a relatively modest price point compared to some of its competitors. The practical packaging and all-terrain capabilities are winners, though you should also be aware of a snug fit in the rear seat for some adults. You also only get the more high-end powertrain with the more expensive model.
