The Tundra is powered by a 5.7L, i-FORCE, V8 engine. This engine is rated to handle up to 10,200 pounds of towing capacity and a payload of 1,730 pounds. The vehicle is equipped with a 6 speed automatic transmission that is electronically controlled.
Styling and Comfort
This Tundra stood out to me because of the double cab with 4 door access. I also like the look of the exterior with a front grille featuring “TOYOTA”, a scoop style hood, and 18 inch forged aluminum satin black wheels. There is also black badging along the body of the truck. The bed is amply large to carry the whole family’s gear.
The interior features a driver’s cabin with 2 power-operated seats that are trimmed in leather. Red stitching accents the seats, armrests, and the dash. The center console includes a detailed shift knob. Second-row seating is formed to the human body for a comfortable fit for up to 3 passengers. Floor mats are standard. There is a standard power-operated moonroof.
Technology and Entertainment
The 2020 Tundra features an upgraded infotainment system either a 7 or 8-inch touchscreen display. A built-in navigation system is standard on the 1794 model. The 12 speaker Premium JBL Audio system is operated by a touch screen. Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and front and rear parking assist are operated by sonar sensors. The Smart Key with push button is convenient.

This truck has the standard Toyota Star Safety System. This includes Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), and Smart Stop Technology (SST). Eight standard airbags include driver and front passenger-side airbags, front and rear roll-sensing side curtain airbags, and driver and front outboard passenger airbags. With the Advanced Airbag System, the driver and front outboard passenger seats also have knee airbags.
