The new Supra is essentially a BMW Z4 underneath. It uses BMW parts, a BMW interior, and a BMW drivetrain. The 2022 Toyota Supra GR is powered by a B58 twin-turbo straight-six.

Handling

Toyota fitted the new Supra with dampers, front and rear bump stops, and new aluminum braces to the strut towers to improve lateral rigidity.
