Auto Disclosure

Kelly Blue Book recently awarded the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime the Electric/Hybrid Best Buy of 2017. The reasons are obvious. According to a spokesperson for Toyota, the company set out to design, build, and deliver the most efficient car in America. I think they succeeded.

The new Toyota Prius Prime is able to maintain a pure electrical charge for up to 25 miles, the estimated average daily commute. The hybrid electric and gas engine will deliver 640 miles of driving with a full tank of gas. The electric battery can be charged by plugging into a public electric charging station or an optional home charging station. Public stations are already available at many commuter parking lots, train stations, super markets, big box stores, and corporate centers. More public stations are planned for 2017 across the country.

The Prime has all the standard safety features that you would expect in a car for yourself or for a family. Some of these features include Stability and Traction Control, Anti-Lock Brakes, Smart Stop Technology, Pedestrian Detection, Air Bags, Blind Spot Monitor, and a Backup Camera for parking assistance.

There is plenty of room for four people plus cargo space beneath the hatch behind the rear seats. The rear seats have LATCH technology, which stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children. This vehicle is well designed for child car seats. The lightweight body is reinforced with a high tensile strength steel frame.

The energy efficiency of this car beats any other introduced for 2017. On average, the fuel efficiency ranges from 54 MPG to 113 MPGe. This is a very attractive feature for families looking to save on the cost of fuel. Fuel costs per year are approximately 1/2 of what you would spend on a comparably sized 1.8 liter, 4 cylinder, gas fueled vehicle.

The starting price for the Toyota Prius Prime is attractive at $27,100.00. There are federal tax incentives of up to $4,500, and some states offer sales tax incentives for purchasing a fuel efficient, eco-friendly automobile.

Is the Toyota Prius Prime a Top Choice for Families?

This highly awarded car from Toyota is priced right for a small family that wants a safe means of transportation with financial rewards built from its efficiency.

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
