DoDD Review Disclosure

With spring upon us, it’s a great time to start thinking about home safety tips and upgrades. Here are a few digital ways you can easily upgrade your home to make it safer:

• Protecting the Computer – Do you have the latest software to help prevent viruses, malware and hackers? It is easy economical to download the latest tools to help protect all your digital assets.

• Protect Your Digital Footprint – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked-In and a host of other social networks are great to connect with friends and family, but they also can be a way for unwanted attention. Check your privacy settings to ensure your personal information is not falling into the wrong hands.

• Protect Your Passwords – Are you one of those people that write down all their passwords next to your computer? A password app can keep all those valuable codes safe and secure, as well as easily accessible on your smartphone.

• Protect Your Front Door – You can spend thousands of dollars on home security systems, but before you invest that kind of money, a great way to test out home monitoring is with the VTech’s Video Doorbell cordless phone system (MSRP: $119.95). It provides homeowners a better way to approach surprise visitors when they come to the door, using an instant photo sent to the phone handset and optional streaming video to screen visitors.

Surprise visitors can be great, but they’re better when you can decide whether to greet them, before you’re at the door. With this two-in-one cordless answering system and video doorbell, you can. In one product, you get a versatile home phone and a digital camera doorbell for a convenient connection to your front door—and one less thing competing for counter space.

Space SavingsSpace Savings – Many home monitoring systems are bulky and expensive, taking up valuable space throughout your home. But with this system, you get a fully featured cordless phone with top survellance featues—and one less thing competing for counter space.

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
