Parents rearing young adults ready to graduate high school and move onto college or the job market want, more than anything else, to be assured that their children will be safe on the road and in their new environments. One way to ensure safety while they are on the road is to invest in a vehicle with a proven track record for safety yet one that will provide some of the perks young adults desire. Hyundai has addressed the need by including high-end details and elegance in the new 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited which is available at affordable compact car prices.

2017 ELANTRA SEDAN

This next-generation Hyundai is driver-oriented with modern styling, large information screens, and easy-to-reach controls. The super comfortable power seats and noise reducing construction are designed with drivers and passengers needs in mind. Features such as sound-absorbing rear wheel liners and thicker floor carpeting minimize harshness, vibration, and noise whether driving on dirt or paved roads.

The new Elantra Limited provides a solid drive both on the open road and when winding your way through twisting mountain passes. Parents can be assured that their children will be safe while traveling to and from school or a job as well as when taking a sabbatical when they need to recharge between semesters or when on vacation from work. Additionally, for slightly more than a basic model amenities like navigation, 8-inch display with touchscreen, power sunroof, heated front and rear seats, a premium audio system, high intensity headlights with bent light technology, automatic emergency braking when approaching other cars as well as pedestrians, lane assist, and much more can be added.

The Limited is the top-of-the-line model of the new Elantras and has been designed with two new powertrain options. The 6-speed automatic transmission is powered by 147 horsepower, 132 pound-torque, 4-cylinder, 2.0 liter engine. There is also a 6-speed manual transmission available on this model. The result is a ride that is smooth that is powered by an engine filled with spirit.

Looks are important to young adults and the new Elantra Limited doesn’t disappoint. Its sleek appearance, wide-mouth grille-work, structural air curtains, and chiseled hood lines make it one of the top picks of upcoming college-age students. When viewing this new model for the first time it’s difficult to believe it’s still considered a compact car.

2017 ELANTRA SEDAN

The new Elantra comes in four models: the Limited, SE, Eco, and Sport. The Limited is definitely the higher-end of the choices and, in the opinion of experts, the most desirable with its leather seats and focus on driver-needs. The high-tech and safety amenities, superior looks, and smooth ride also make it a car any young adult can be proud of.

Parents often dread the day their children step into the next phase of their lives whether it be to a first job or higher education. There are so many concerns and pressures encountered during this transition period that the last thing they should have to worry about is the safety of their children while on the road. By investing in a new 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited, however, it’s the one thing they won’t have to worry about.

I’ve partnered with @TxDOT to remind you that all distractions – whether texting, eating, grooming, having a conversation, etc. – can be dangerous. #ad   That is why my family and I are also taking the AT&T It Can Wait pledge at http://www.ItCanWait.com/ to never drive distracted. As I get older and wiser as a dad of 5, I realize parenting is mostly about preparation. That is why I am proud to partner with @TxDOT on educating my daughters about distracted driving.    As a young guy, I found myself preparing to be a dad, or at least a good dad. Now I find myself preparing my children to be good people and safe drivers on the road. Jaci and I have been going over distracted driving prevention tips and having a little fun with the new web-based AR game – Dart Those Distractions. It helps promote safe driving in a fun way.   Check out the link in my bio to play. #HeadsUpTexas #EndTheStreakTX #ad
