# Minden Tahoe Air Show with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels

### The 2018 Minden Tahoe Air Show will be held on October 13th and 14th. The airport is located in northern Nevada, 45 minutes south of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The event will showcase performances by the famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Discounted, pre-sale tickets are available as of March 16th.

## Minden Tahoe Air Show

This show has become one of the most anticipated events at the Minden Airport. The 2018 Aviation Roundup features Kirby Chambliss, the Red Bull Aerobatic Helicopter, the Red Bull Wingsuit Jumpers, Bill Stein Airshows, Danny Sorensen Golden Age Airshows, Gene Soucy Airshows, Greg Colyer Ace Maker Airshows, Jim Peitz Aerosports, Paul McCowan skydiving team, and Dan Buchanan Airshows. Minden-Tahoe Airport provides fans an up-close and personal experience. The roar of the engines can literally be felt in your core.

**Highlights of the 2018 Aviation Experience**

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels include talented aviators form both the Navy and the Marines. There are six demonstration pilots who currently fly the [McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornets](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell%5FDouglas%5FF/A-18%5FHornet). The Flying Bulls Aerobatic Helicopter will perform jaw-dropping aerobatics in its first full season in many years. The Red Bull Air Force Skydiving Team includes high-speed performance jumpers showing off canopy jumps, wingsuit flying, and formation maneuvers.
