Gear Up Super Bowl XLVII
By no means am I a sports writer or even a huge football buff to speak of. I am just a football fan that enjoys a great game. With the big game coming up, we are looking to gear up for Super Bowl XLVII. With the Super Bowl less than 30 days away it is time to get excited and pumped. The divisional rounds are coming up this weekend, January 12-13. The AFC match ups are looking like the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos and the Houston Texans against the New England Patriots.
I myself root for… and watch more of… NFC games than AFC, but my hometown team (Dallas Cowboys) is done for the season. Now, I am intrigued by the whole Peyton Manning story and the come back tour he has put together. But I am going to be cheering on the Ravens. Part of me believes that Ray Lewis, Joe Flacco, and their whole team are due and deserve to go deep into the playoffs.
Super Food for Super Bowl
And since the way to man’s heart is through his stomach, we must talk food! Food and football have more in common than just starting with “foo“. They go hand and hand… or rather hand to mouth… together. One of my sideline choices is a Buffalo Chicken Dip made with Frank’s RedHot Sauce® that we whip up when we get a chance. I must say that this dip is a hail Mary ending with a touchdown that everyone at your Super Bowl Party will love. Plus, it is easy to make. Get the complete Buffalo Chicken dip recipe on my wife’s blog.

Please stay tuned for more NFL updates or any other useless sports info from my blog in the weeks ahead. I plan on posting my opinions on all the playoff games as well as a new Super Bowl Party tailgate idea.
