Disclosure: I received a copy of Mr Peabody and Sherman, and some other goods to share about the Blu-Ray/DVD release. All opinions are my own.

Who doesn’t like a dog in glasses? Just kidding, it’s not too often you see an extraordinary dog in action , walking and talking like a human. That is why I like Mr Peabody so much. The fact that he is a highly intelligent is pretty crazy in its self.

MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN

Unleash the fun at home with the hilarious comedy-adventure, DreamWorks Animation’s MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN! Mr. Peabody (Ty Burrell) is an inventor, scientist and genius who just happens to be a dog. With his son Sherman, he will embark on the most extraordinary adventure imaginable as they race against time to repair history and save the future.

This movie is such an excellent source of fun, education and clean humor. Mr Peabody takes Sherman everywhere to show him some of the best times in history. My girls loved Sherman, he is just a cute little boy that wants to learn and have fun the best way possible.

Mr Peabody & Sherman is based upon the beloved characters that first appeared in in the late 1950s and early 1960s animated television series “Rocky and His Friends” and “The Bullwinkle Show,” produced by Jay Ward.

Fun with Mr Peabody & Sherman – Ancient Greece

What better way to get into a movie, than to act like your in it! That is what we did this past weekend. We decided to have a Mr Peabody and Sherman watching party. Our theme was Ancient Greece, so we grabbed some random cloth to make a toga for Joeli. Then, we got our craft on, by making a roman Solider mask.

She loved dressing up in her toga, and holding her little Mr Peabody and Sherman! I think the toga turned out to be pretty nice!

Mr Peabody and Sherman supplies

As far as our Roman Mask, we used two different color construction papers a Popsicle stick and glue. She still has her cheeze smile behind her mask.

You too can dress up and have Mr Peabody and Sherman watching party. Be sure to pick up your copy of the movie on Blu-Ray/DVD, figure out what theme best suits you and enjoy.

I laid my dad to rest today. Although our relati I laid my dad to rest today.

Although our relationship has been strained over the past 14 years, he was still my dad.

He instilled values in me that I have carried into adulthood and continue to pass down to my family.

He showed me how to care for and appreciate my wife in such a way that she knows I love her.

He taught me life lessons that I have been able to teach my own children.

I wish we could have had a more meaningful relationship so that he (and my mom) could have experienced my life, my family, with me, but I’m grateful for the time we had.

He’ll always be my dad and that seems like enough right now.
