One of the worst things about being a parent, is the letting go when they get older. I know for Staci and I it was tough letting Cheyenne drive on her own, without us. But, as parents we try to prepare our children, and one of the most important preparations is safe driving.

Ford Driving Skills for Life

Ford Driving Skills for Life is a FREE program developed in 2003 in conjunction with the Governors Highway Safety Association and a panel of safety experts to address the number one killer of teenagers in the United States…motor vehicle crashes.

As part of its ongoing commitment to vehicle safety, Ford Motor Company is reminding drivers that any distraction that diverts attention from the task of driving, eyes on the road and hands on the wheel, can be dangerous.

Teens will drive specially-equipped vehicles on road courses under the supervision of professional instructors, improving their skills in four key areas: hazard recognition, vehicle handling, space management and speed management.

Ford DSFL helps young drivers improve their skills in four key areas that are critical factors in more than 60% of vehicle crashes including:

  • Hazard Recognition
  • Vehicle Handling
  • Speed Management
  • Distracted and Impaired Driving

Ford Driving Skills for LifeDriving Skills for Life has gained national recognition as one of the leading programs in helping to keep teen drivers safe for their entire driving career in its 10 year run.

Our girls have continued to homeschool through school closures, just as we’ve done for over a decade.

Online classes for many though have been an adjustment, and they can really slow down a home network with multiple devices.

Luckily #Verizon offers fast, reliable 5G internet in the #Dallas area!
