Date Night on a Budget at Carrabba’s Italian Grill
On a date night finding the right place to dine is crucial, even if you are only stopping for a quick bite to eat. You need to know that where you are going to eat will impress your date while not costing you a fortune. I recently had this problem a few nights ago when I was taking Staci home after our date at the movies, and we both realized we were needing something to eat. I panicked because I had not planned a restaurant to eat at, and I was afraid we would end up eating at a place she did not like. Luckily, we both love Italian food. So, we ended up pulling into Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
The service there was fantastic, and #Carrabbas had great small plates at just the right price! Since Staci and I had only stopped for a quick bite to eat we decided to go with ordering small plates instead of full meals. I ordered the Meatballs and Ricotta while Staci ordered the Three-Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms. About 5 minutes later our dishes cam out to us piping hot, and looking absolutely delicious. I could not wait to dig in.
The Meatballs and Ricotta were mouthwatering! The Meatballs were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was outstanding. There was just the right amount of cheese; and the sauce, meatballs, and cheese combined into this dish made a dish I will never forget. Staci urged me throughout the entire time I ate to try the Three-Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms. However, I am not much for mushrooms so I kept declining. Finally, she convinced me to try a stuffed mushroom. The mushroom was spectacular. Normally I dislike the taste of any mushroom, but this filling with the sauce completely transformed this mushroom into a completely delicious food.
By the time Staci and I finished eating we decided that we ought to have at least one more dish. Since we found ourselves suddenly starving for more. We ordered one more dish to share which was the Grilled Asparagus with Prosciutto. In less than 5 minutes we had our dish at our table, and were ready to dig in. Normally people do not care for Asparagus, but this dish I guarantee will change anyone’s mind. The wrapped asparagus with balsamic glaze was the perfect way to finish out the night.
There are plenty of other small plate options at Carrabba’s Italian Grill such as the Bruschette Siciliani, Mozzarella Rustica, and Italian Lettuce Wraps. There are so many delicious Italian dishes at Carrabba’s that will make anyone’s mouth water! The best part is you can mix and match the dishes to make a full meal, and each dish is under six dollars. Great tasting food for under six dollars. It can’t get any better than that!
Carrabba’s Italian Grill saved my night. Staci and I got a quick bite to eat that more than made us happy. We decided that our next date might just be at Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and next time we will order full meals! I do not know what I would have done if Staci and I had not stopped at Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Not only did we eat amazing food, but I did not spend around twenty- five dollars.
