Disclosure: As a part of the Mom It Forward Influencer Network, I want to thank O Cedar for sponsoring this post. All opinions are mine.

For the most part, Staci and I see eye to eye on a lot of things. For example, football, Mexican food, movies, and style of shoes (we both prefer Converse). Yet, there have been a few times where we just seem to disagree. For instance, when it comes time to do a little Spring cleaning around the house, Staci likes to deep clean as much as possible. Cleaning walls, furniture, baseboards, and dusty old spider webs. I don’t.

Fun Spring Cleaning Ideas and Tools

Spring Cleaning Ideas

Myself, I like to focus more on the outdoors and a bit less of the indoors. Here are my top five Spring cleaning projects I like to tackle.

Dusting off shelves

I see myself as an instant gratification kind of guy. By clearing away unwanted dust bunnies around my favorite household pieces, I feel like my work here is done. Dust bunnies gone, shelves cleaned.

Cleaning the floors

A nice shine on a floor is pretty rewarding when done right. The best part is that the luster could last for weeks to enjoy. Plus, this is the one area where Staci and I agree when it comes to spring cleaning. We like to challenge each other to see who can do a better job of getting the floors clean.

O-Cedar EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System

Fortunately, this cleaning task is made simple with the O-Cedar EasyWring™ Spin Mop & Bucket System. Unlike some tools that feature disposable cleaning pads, O-Cedar offers a reusable and washable, deep-cleaning microfiber mop head. Plus, the head’s triangular design is made to get into those hard-to-reach areas. Not to mention, deep cleaning with the EasyWring™ Spin Mop & Bucket System is also good for the environment. It’s a win-win for everyone.

Trimming trees/bushes

Over the last couple of seasons I have developed a passion for tree pruning. Again, it’s that instant gratification of seeing the trees and bushes being to take shape as I trim back their parts. Plus, the tools used for the job are actually fun too! But, if lawncare is not your thing, click here to find a Arborist service near you.

Declutter garage

Our large family seems to excel at accumulating stuff. Some things we need and other things are simply items we just need to get rid of. Spring is the perfect time to get out in the garage and declutter. After all, the weather is perfect for it—not too hot and not too cold.

Power wash

Lastly, like any other guy, I love power tools. So every Spring and Fall I find myself power washing the patio, house, and the fence. In fact, if I could power wash my dishes every night I would. The dirt and dust is washed away quickly and easily and I can move onto the next project on my honey-do list.
